Fill the map with distinct landscapes and typical symbols of the countries. The borders should be left black, but the imagery can of course overlap them.
Okay i realized that this is still a border-by-border based quilt not a free selectable.
But because i was the first one, only i noticed the above problem
Any chance you start a quilt like that with a free pickup-based system ? So clicking on a tile would checkout instead of a randomized?
If I find the time, I may add country names. Even the Europeans don't know all the countries from parts their shapes. The map is still usable, though, and eventually added names should be painted over anyway.
I made a few additions/corrections in this quilt:
- There are checkout links on every unclaimed tile.
- The background is now scaled properly while zooming.
- The background is now visible in the tile detail view.
