Wow, 48 x 96? That's very interesting
Maybe after I do some more tiles on the newbie quilt, I'll have enough stars to participate here. Yay!

What's the procedure to re-checkout a tile? I don't think I looked closely enough on one of my edges before checking in... (tile #2097)
If possible, I'd love to re-checkout and fix it up quick before anyone else makes a tile from my borders.
Thanks!

hi fydo
Just fix the tile, load it into your gallery and the admin will usually replace it asap!

Great, it's been uploaded now.
Thanks, Jaylove!
I'll try to be more careful in the future.

Ok, I replaced the tile and deleted the gallery entry. Thanks for the update!

New tiles! I am very happy on the inside. I hope can find some time to contribute additional new tiles!

Its amazing how much difference in image quality between using a mouse like I do, and those of you that use a tablet of some flavor. Do you guys have a recommendation for an inexpensive yet decent quality tablet?

I only have experience with Wacom (really good, but expensive) and Aiptek (not total trash and pretty cheap) tablets, and must recommend Wacom if you really want to get serious. I wouldn't recommend the smaller Wacoms - still too expensive and not good enough for what they cost.
If you don't want to spend several hundred to thousand dollars for a professional tablet though, get an Aiptek 8000U or 10000U, but don't expect it to last long if you use it extensively. You can get them on Ebay or from pretty much every online hardware retailer - unfortunately it's almost impossible to get replacement pen tips.

I guess this is yet another case of 'you get what you pay for'.
I was looking at getting a Wacom tablet before, but before I could save the money my son was born (talk about a way to run out of spare cash, not to mention spare time, fast). Do you recommend any particular Wacom tablet (I know they have a few different models)?
[edit] BTW, Cybris, when you upload a file it goes to a blank page instead of back to the quilt. The upload does appear to work, however, so I think its just failing to either redirect or open the page it should (I'm not sure which it does).

http://www.onlinequilt.net/quilts/?id=35&xshift=10&yshift=5#quilt really shows how much we've gotten done on this one so far. I can't wait to see what all the hidden tiles are.

This must be some kind of a record - I have completed 15 tiles, and not one of them is showing yet - heheh

I know what you mean. I was just noticing how many are there but not showing yet. At the rate we're moving right now, however, it won't be long until your tiles are showing.

I guess I will just have to work on more tiles to get some of yours to show up.
